The burning man festival is as hot as ever! Yes, it is still a yearly even in Nevada. It is held out in the desert of northern Nevada, with the closest large city being Reno. Everyone knows when burning man is about to begin, because some very unique people pour in from all over the world to take part in this odd event of fun and experience. You are allowed to be anything you want and provide for yourself and others. It is a kick back from a hippie era when love, peace and free everything was the chant. Burning man is an event that is best taken lightly or you will not enjoy yourself.
Take your own sleeping arrangements. Everything from car to tents, from motor homes to a sleeping bag are acceptable. It is up to you. Once you arrive at burning man you can set up your camp anywhere in the sun. There is lots and lots of sun. No facilities so be prepared to have your own. This event is unusual fun and you will be expected to participate. You will find free food booths, free kissing booth, face painting, hair braiding, massages, chants of luck, and wonderful free movement rides and entertainment. Take a ride up in the sky and shout as loud as you can. Let your inner lion roar. At the end of burning man you will be tired, sore, sunburned, hungry and energized in a way you have never felt.
